We want SubsMeet to be easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities.
Our goal
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as our technical accessibility target and continue testing and improving the site. We have not yet completed a formal accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
Using the site
- Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls, Enter to follow links, and Enter or Space to activate buttons.
- The first keyboard link skips navigation and moves to page content.
- You can enlarge text using your browser's zoom and select reduced motion in your device settings.
- Close optional dialogs and the mobile navigation with Escape. The terms acceptance card stays open until you accept or decline it; its legal links are available without accepting.
What we are doing
- Making all controls usable with a keyboard and giving them clear labels.
- Improving color contrast, text size and tap-target size on mobile devices.
- Offering the site in English and Spanish.
- Reviewing accessibility when we add new features.
Known limitations
- Some older cards and controls are not yet fully usable with a keyboard or screen reader.
- Some small text and light colors may have low contrast.
- Photos and videos uploaded by users may not have alternative text or captions.
