Protecting your information is a priority. This Privacy Policy explains how Vizel Marketing Solutions LLC (“SubsMeet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use the SubsMeet platform at subsmeet.com and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.
We collect information you voluntarily provide and information generated through your use of the Service, including:
We do not collect personal information about you unless you provide it, though certain features (such as registering, purchasing a subscription, or contacting us) require it.
If you provide tax information such as a W-9 for tax classification, we never store your full Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN). We retain only the entity type, the derived tax classification, and the last four digits for reference and compliance purposes.
We use your information to operate and deliver the Service you request — including to match contractors with subcontractors and projects, power bidding, messaging and connections, verify credentials, process subscriptions and payments, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and send you relevant communications such as bid awards, alerts and confirmations. We may also inform you of other products or services offered by SubsMeet and its affiliates.
We do not sell, rent or lease your personal information, and we do not share information that directly identifies you with advertisers without your permission. We may share information in the following circumstances:
We store data on servers operated by third-party hosting vendors with whom we contract. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can review and update your profile at any time, and control notification and subscription settings from your account. Subject to certain exceptions, you may request that we delete your personal information; on receipt of a verifiable request we will delete it from our records and direct our service providers to do the same. We may be unable to fulfill a deletion request where we must retain information to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, detect or prevent fraud and security incidents, debug and repair errors, or otherwise use it internally in a lawful manner compatible with the context in which you provided it.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request access to or a copy of that information, to request correction or deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted by law. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@subsmeet.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will verify your request before acting on it, and you may use an authorized agent as permitted by law.
Data retention. We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy — including to provide the Service, meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements — after which we delete or de-identify it.
From time to time we may contact you by email to provide announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys and other communications. You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link; we may still send you transactional or service-related messages.
The Service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a prominent notice on the Service or by emailing the address associated with your account, and we will update the 'Last updated' date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acknowledgment of, and agreement to, the updated Policy.
